The organizations that are featured below were chosen by the Northwest Jewelry & Metals Symposium planning committee because they are organizations that are working hard to provide access and opportunities to underserved and under represented people within the metals community.
While diversity among our speakers has always been a priority for the planning committee, one of the changes we made in 2020 and will continue in the coming years, is to offer additional support to organizations that are actively working on inclusion and diversity within the jewelry and metals community. We feel that the organizations listed here stand out in their exceptional support to BIPOC youth, artists, and craftspeople across the country.
It is our hope that you will take a look, spread the word via your own networks, and most importantly, donate to the organizations that you feel moved by. Seattle, and the world, we have the means to amplify these voices!
Let’s step up: every little bit counts.
