Guiding Principles
The Seattle Metals Guild and its Northwest Jewelry & Metals Symposium aim to educate, inform and engage by bringing together artists, designers, makers, craftspeople and anyone interested in metals as a medium and field.
It is the goal of the Planning Committee to create a dynamic yet balanced program, featuring speakers and topics from disparate backgrounds and all communities. We are committed to inclusivity in our selection of speakers and in welcoming attendees across a spectrum of skill levels, identity, and age. We work hard to build the best program possible from the most diverse pool of speakers that we can assemble, always taking into account current developments in the worlds of Art and Craft, and the greater world that we all share.
